AI for sales and customer support

Scripted bots and goal-driven agents differ in design and in how they bill. Outcome-based pricing appeared for a reason, and the domestic Japanese tools have a specific place.

Questions we get

What is outcome-based pricing?
Paying per resolution rather than per seat or conversation — Intercom Fin publishes $0.99 per resolution. The upside is that no effect means little spend; the work is agreeing in writing what counts as a resolution before signing.
What to watch when operating in Japanese?
Control of apology wording. An automatic apology can read as an admission of responsibility. If first-line complaint handling is in scope, confirm the wording can be constrained.
Domestic or global vendor?
It turns on Japanese response quality and contract terms. KARAKURI and Helpfeel do Japanese-language support as their core business. Global products win on feature breadth and pricing transparency.
