Summarise a meeting into decisions and owners

Here is a meeting transcript: [paste it].

Produce three lists:
- Decisions made, with who made them
- Actions, with owner and date — only where both were actually stated
- Open questions, with who raised them

Where an owner or date was not stated, write [not assigned]. Do not infer agreement from the absence of objection.

Write a summary someone can act on without reading further

Write a summary of the material below in exactly this shape:

- One sentence: what this is about
- Three bullets: what it establishes
- One sentence: what should happen next

No preamble, no "this document discusses". If the material does not support a "what next", say so instead of inventing one.

Build a glossary from a document set

From the material below, list every term a newcomer would not know.

For each: the term, a one-line definition using only what the material says, and where it first appears.

Flag any term used with two different meanings in different places — that is usually the most useful thing in the list.

Compress a long document without losing conditions

Summarise the document below to about [length].

Every conclusion must keep the conditions attached to it. If the original says a result holds "for teams under fifty people", the summary says that too.

Afterwards, list anything you dropped that a reader might consider load-bearing.

Summarise for someone with a specific decision to make

[Person and role] has to decide [decision] by [when]. They have five minutes.

Turn a long thread into a position

Here is a long discussion thread: [paste it].

Produce: the question under discussion, the distinct positions taken, who holds each, what evidence was offered, and what was never addressed.

Do not report it chronologically and do not count votes. If no position was actually resolved, say so.

Produce a daily digest that stays short

Here is everything that happened today: [paste updates, messages or logs].

Write a digest of at most 150 words for someone who was away. Include only what changes what they would do.

End with a line listing what you left out, so they can ask. Do not pad to fill the space.

Reconcile several sources into one picture

Here are several documents about the same thing: [paste them].

Produce one account that notes, inline, where sources agree and where they conflict. Attribute every claim to its source.

Do not resolve conflicts by picking one silently. Where they disagree, say so and say which is better positioned to be right.

Summarise a paper honestly

Summarise the paper below, including the parts that weaken it.

Cover: the question, what was done, the sample and its limits, the result, and the conditions under which it holds.

Separately, state what the paper does not show that a careless reader might think it does.
