VEED
4.2
VEED is browser-based video editing with the common AI features — automatic captions, translation and dubbing, background removal, filler-word cleanup — metered by credits. It targets the marketing and social use case where the edit is simple and the turnaround matters.

Editors' review
Browser editing for the simple edits that make up most social video
Most marketing video is a trim, captions and a brand frame. VEED does exactly that in a browser, which removes both the install and the handover to whoever owns the editing machine.
Captions and translation are the features that get used. For a team localising social output, generating subtitles and a dubbed track in one place is a meaningful saving over stitching separate tools together.
It has a ceiling. Multi-track edits, colour work and anything with real post-production belong in a desktop NLE, and Japanese captions always need a correction pass. Credits also make a heavy month hard to predict.
Verdict
Right-sized for social and internal video. Keep a desktop editor for anything with real post-production.
