Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths
- Hours pooled across a department instead of per-seat licences
- Inside an account and contract the company already has
- Japanese transcription and Japanese support
- Administration handled with the rest of LINE WORKS
Trade-offs
- Only makes sense if you already use LINE WORKS
- Entry price is high for a small department
- Narrower feature set than dedicated meeting AI tools
Editors' review
Meeting AI for companies already inside LINE WORKS
The argument is procurement, not features. If LINE WORKS is already the messaging platform, AiNote arrives inside an existing contract, with existing administration and an existing support channel — which in many Japanese organisations decides the matter before any comparison starts.
Pooled hours fit reality better than per-seat pricing. In most companies a minority of people sit in the meetings worth transcribing, and a departmental pool prices that honestly.
Outside that context there is little reason to choose it. Dedicated tools do more, and the entry price assumes a department rather than a team.
Verdict
The sensible option inside LINE WORKS. Irrelevant outside it.
