Augment Code
4.4
Augment Code targets production-scale codebases with a Context Engine, a CLI, cloud agents and an editor product. Pricing is a flat monthly fee rather than per seat: Standard is $20 a month with $20 of included usage and up to 50 seats, Business is $100 with $100 of usage. Usage is measured in dollars across inference, context and compute.

Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths

- Usage measured in dollars makes the bill legible
Trade-offs
- No free plan listed
- Included usage is modest relative to heavy agent work
- Enterprise terms require a conversation
Editors' review
Flat pricing changes who can adopt it
Per-seat pricing means a ten-person team pays ten times a one-person team for the same codebase. A flat fee with fifty seats inverts that, and for a small team it is materially cheaper.
The included usage is the real limit. Heavy agent work will exceed $20 quickly, so model the usage before assuming the headline price.
Verdict
Attractive for small teams on large codebases. Check your usage before committing.
