As of November 2026. Catchy's page does not state tax treatment; Transcope quotes tax-inclusive prices.

Catchy counts how many times you generated, which suits producing dozens of short options and picking one. At JPY 9,800, Pro removes the limit, so anyone writing copy daily ends up there. Transcope counts characters generated — at roughly 5,000 characters per article, the 50,000-character entry plan is about ten articles a month.

2. What comes bundled

Transcope includes functions beyond generation: competitor site analysis, keyword research, rank tracking and internal link suggestions. The entry plan tracks 10 keywords with three link suggestions a month; the upper plan tracks 100 with unlimited suggestions.

That is the reason for the price gap. JPY 11,000 is expensive for a writing tool and reasonable once you account for the rank tracker you would otherwise buy separately. If you already run a dedicated SEO platform, the functionality overlaps and the argument collapses.

Catchy has none of that and invests instead in the breadth of its templates — ad headlines, landing page copy, email subjects, product descriptions. Fixed formats, produced quickly, several at a time.

3. What each will accept as input

Transcope takes URLs, images and audio, so you can have it read an existing page and rewrite it, or turn a recorded seminar into an article. It also supports training on your own material.

That last capability is reproducible in general-purpose tools using their project features. The reason to buy the dedicated tool is the SEO functions being integrated and non-technical colleagues being able to use it without configuration.

4. The option of using neither

Honestly, the quality of the generated prose does not differ much between a dedicated tool and a frontier general-purpose model. What the dedicated tool sells is templates, the surrounding features, and a repeatable process for a team. One person who can manage their own prompts often needs nothing beyond a ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro subscription.

The deciding variables are how many pieces you publish a month and how many people write them. A few pieces, one writer: general-purpose AI. Ten or more, or several writers whose output has to match: templates and permissions start to earn their price.

Frequently asked questions

Can both be tried free?

Yes. Catchy gives 10 credits a month; Transcope gives 4,000 characters over one week. Transcope's trial is time-limited, so pick the week before signing up.

Can generated text be published as-is?

Verify the facts first. Numbers, proper nouns and pricing are where models err. This site runs a source-checking step before anything is published.

Does Transcope have a minimum term?

Paid plans are prepaid with a one-month minimum and renew monthly thereafter. Confirm current terms before signing.
